Ryan Dambach is Co-Founder and Coach with the Friars Baseball Club He is a Professional Hitting Instructor & Mental Skills Coach based in Orange County, Ca. He has worked with top level hitters looking to perform at an elite level. He uses a mental and biomechanical approach to allow his clients to become the best version of themselves both on and off the field.
Ryan is a highly regarded Hitting Instructor and Mental Coach with over 20 years of experience. He's worked with hitters from every level of amateur and professional baseball. His philosophy focuses on all 3 aspects of player development. He uses cutting edge physical mechanics to help athletes develop both power and consistency as well as mental skill training to help develop the mental skills necessary to perform to their highest capacity. He then helps his athletes develop an approach at the plate that will put them in the best position to achieve their goals.
As a former professional athlete and collegiate coach Ryan understands what it takes to perform and develop players at the highest level. His techniques can help players not only perform better but experience reduced stress and gain more enjoyment out of of the game.
In his spare time Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, surfing, and spending time in the outdoors.

Tyler Rahmatulla is Co-Founder and Coach of Friars Baseball Club. Coach Rahmatulla grew up in South Orange County, Ca and was a standout baseball player at Mater Dei High School where is was a member of Team USA. After graduation he accepted a scholarship to play collegiately at UCLA. While playing for the Bruins Tyler was the starting second baseman for 3 seasons and helped lead them to their first College World Series appearance in 13 years eventually losing to South Carolina in the final. During his time there he was teammates with current Major Leaguer Gerrit Cole.
In 2011 Coach Rahmatulla was drafted and signed with the St. Louis Cardinals. Over 3 seasons in the Cardinals Organization Coach Rahmatulla reached the AA level and was fortunate enough to play 2 seasons for former Cardinals manager and current Padres Manager Mike Shildt. An All-Star for the Johnson City Cardinals in 2011 Tyler set an Appalachian League record with 27 doubles.
After his professional career Coach Rahmatulla started his coaching career as the Hitting Coach for the Battle Creek Bombers of the renowned Northwoods Collegiate League. Since then he has been the Hitting and Infield Coach for San Juan Hills High School, coached local youth travel baseball teams and has been working as a Private Baseball Instructor in the South Orange County area.
Coach Rahmatulla currently resides with his wife and 3 boys in Rancho Mission Viejo and enjoys surfing and spending time with his family off the field.

Ricky Oropesa is a coach for Friars Baseball Club. In high school Ricky was an Aflac All- American and was ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 2 third baseman in the nation and No. 18 for first basemen. His senior year he was drafted 24th round by Boston Red Sox but decided not to sign and decided to pursue his college degree at the Univeristy of Southern California (USC).
Over the course of three seasons at USC, Ricky exhibited a commendable batting average of .331 across 170 games, with 167 starts. Oropesa is tied for fifth on the all-time list for career home runs with 40, sharing this honor with the esteemed Morgan Ensberg (1995-98). His 159 career RBI’s recognition, positioned him fifth place on USC’s all-time list as well.
Ricky was a 3rd round draft pick to the San Francisco Giants. Oropesa hit 37 home runs over parts of 4 seasons with the Double A affiliate, Richmond Flying Squirrels, the most in franchise history. He is also the career franchise leader in RBIs (165).
Following his baseball career Ricky has continued to stay involved in the community as a hitting instructor and coach. Ricky aspires to pass down his passion for baseball to today’s youth. He now resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife and 2 children who enjoy the beach and camping.

Coach Kayoda is a coach for the Friars Baseball Club in charge of Pitching Instruction and is the Head Coach of our 16u team. He is a 2013 El Toro grad where he was a 3 year varsity starter and was named Orange County pitcher of the year.
He went on to play at Cal State Fullerton, Golden West College, and Campbellsville College. After finishing up his playing career Coach Kayoda became the Varsity Pitching Coach for El Toro High School where he had the opportunity to coach current Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
In addition to working with the Friars Coach Kayoda is the Pitching Coach at Orange Coast College and offers private pitching instruction in the South Orange County area.
Blake Klassen is a coach for the Friars Baseball Club. A local product out of JSerra Blake is currently playing for the Wasington Nationals Organization. A Firstbaseman/Outfielder Blake was a standout High School player at JSerra. After his high school career Blake went to the Univeristy of Arizona during the Covid shortened 2020 season.
Due to the Covid shutdown Blake transfered to Eastern Oklahoma State College and then to the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Blake is currently playing in the Washington Nationals Organization for the Fredericksburg Nationals.
